Despite retiring from the Minster Dental Centre at the beginning of the year John Peterson is still working tirelessly for various charity projects that he remains involved in. At the weekend John drove all the way down to Nottinghamshire from Oban in Scotland, all in the name of charity.
As you can see from the picture, he has a van full of various equipment that has been donated. Hidden by the black bags in the van John has equipment from an optician in Oban, all packed up ready to be sent to Nyimba General Hospital in Zambia
What’s in the bags? 20,000 items of ladies underwear John has collected from smalls4all in Livingston – all bound for NPAC projects in Africa.
To add to the van load the Minster Dental Centre donated an X-ray processor, films and chemicals as well as old clinical wear.
